White City · London

Gateway East

Gateway East is situated on the existing White City Development.

The Gateway East development is a 545,000 sqft (net), 23 storey new build comprising speculative commercial workspaces and tenant amenity terraces and, on the ground floor, a multi-purpose town hall facility, exhibition space, co-working space, café, cycle entrance, loading bay and supporting facilities.

The site has had previous usages with the last known construction being the 1908 Olympic Stadium, subsequently used for greyhound racing and was demolished in 1984, although sub-structures from this development are known to still exist.

8 Bishopsgate · London

Designed by Wilkinson Eyre and Arup for client Mitsubishi Estate London, and being delivered by Stanhope, the scheme is conceived as a series of stacked blocks in response to its urban context, with consideration of view corridors and an adjacent conservation area.

The top three storeys are arranged as a pavilion incorporating the viewing/event space as well as plant rooms.

The 50-storey tower will be a new development in the heart of the City that will create 913,000 sq ft gross area including commercial workspace, elevated outdoor terraces, street-level retail, a café and deli, a 200-person auditorium and a public viewing gallery on the 50th floor.

The skyscraper will accent the nearby Leadenhall Building and add to the area's dramatic contemporary architecture.

Haymarket ∙ London

New Zealand

New Zealand House is located at 80 Haymarket at the intersection with Pall Mall. The surrounding usages are a mixture of commercial, hotel [Sofitel], retail [Royal Opera Arcade] and entertainment venues, including Her Majesty’s Theatre. The area is extremely congested with traffic and also pedestrian/tourists at the intersection of Haymarket/Cockspur Street and Pall Mall.

 

New Zealand House currently provides retail/social space at the ground floor fronting onto Haymarket and also the Royal Opera Arcade, commercial premises accessed from Pall Mall and the New Zealand Government’s offices and ambassadors residence accessed mainly from Haymarket. There is also an existing UKPN Sub-station located in the basement.

3 Lower Thames Street ∙ London

Project Walrus [St Magnus House]

St Magnus House is a commercial building set out over 8 floors on Lower Thames Street, and overlooks the River Thames. St Magnus House is named after the nearby church, Church of Saint Magnus-the-Martyr. It is situated amongst other high rise commercial buildings and is adjacent to London Bridge.

 

Purchased by Pegasi in 1983 the proposal is for a Cat A Refurbishment of approximately 135,000 square foot, over basement, ground, ground mezzanine and eight floors of offices, with the nineth floor proposed as a roof terrace.
